As with all of our cosmetic dentistry, our goal with veneers is to have someone say "Wow, you look great!" rather than "Who did your teeth?" Dr. Sam specializes in creating smile makeovers that aim for a natural and aesthetically pleasing look.
Dental veneers, also called porcelain veneers, are thin, custom-made sheets of tooth-colored material designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth to change their color, shape, size, or length for a more beautiful smile.
Veneers are one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures, and as a patient you will of course participate with Dr. Sam in the design of your veneers, including the shape, length, width and color. Veneers can help you quickly achieve a beautiful smile in as little as two office visits, and once in place will be durable and function like your real teeth and last up to 10-15 years.
Veneers may be a good cosmetic dentistry option for you if you have:
Teeth that are chipped, broken or otherwise worn down
Teeth that are discolored or permanent stained from various causes or from the presence of large fillings
Teeth that are misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shaped
Teeth with gaps between them
Veneers are not suitable for every patient, and teeth bleaching or whitening may be more suitable for those have healthy teeth but want them to be whiter. However, the porcelain laminates can create the foundation for a perfect smile and Dr. Sam will be happy to discuss all available options with you.
